Three piece construction, in bronze gilt with red and blue enamels, measuring 49 mm (w) x 49 mm (h), original ribbon suspended from a hanger with pinback, loss evident in the red enamels on the arm at 5 o'clock, scattered gilt wear, fine. Footnote: The Type I version of the Cross for Revolutionary Merit was instituted on October 5, 1939 and was awarded to participants in fighting against the
