La Croix St Laurent Sancerre Caillottes 2020 Size::12 Bottle Case Using only French OakA stylish and focused Sancerre from vines growing in the limestone gravel soils known as caillottes. After fermentation in tank, the wine ages in large acacia wood barrels, gaining a bit of richness without wood notes. This feels smoky and savory with plenty of stone and citrus fruit lifted by a crisp burst of zesty lime and salty stone minerality at the end. Supple enough for solo sipping and better still with food.
