A large number of these badges were un-issued and were released onto the collectors market when the old shooting ground in Innsbruck was demolished at the end of the war (they had been stored there since the war)

with an arm length of 580 mm and an overall body length of 470 mm

Constructed of silver, the obverse bearing a raised and leftward facing profile of King Friedrich Wilhelm II, circumscribed by name and title in Latin, the reverse bearing a wreathed inscription of NOVA SPES REGNI (THE NEW HOPE OF THE KINGDOM), above a commemorative Latin inscription for the year 1786, measuring 42. 05 mm in diameter, weighing 28. 5 grams, in extremely fine condition.
