Instituted 31 May 1842 by Kaiser Friedrich Wilhelm IV. (1842 present issue). Constructed of gilded bronze with multi coloured enamels, set on a 25 mm long bar with a period original ribbon and horizontal pinback, unmarked, in extremely fine condition.
