Instituted December 29 1841 by Wilhelm II, King of the Netherlands and Grand Duke of Luxembourg. A beautiful Grand Officer Set in silver gilt, the badge presenting a white enamelled cross pattee, the obverse medallion in silver gilt features a lovely green enamelled field with a crowned W cypher superimposed in the center, the reverse mirrors the obverse, measures 50. 1mm (w) x 55. 4mm (h inclusive of integral ball
