A Waffen-SS Gebirgsjäger EM/NCO’s Sleeve Insignia consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac reading: Kriegsbeginn 22(Waffen SS rmelabzeichen fr Gebirgsjger). Constructed of black wool, the obverse bearing a machine embroidered silver grey edelweiss with a golden yellow stamen, situated within a silver grey border, unmarked, measuring 60 mm (w) x 75 mm (h), in unissued and mint condition.
