Brightwater Nelson Sauvignon Blanc clos-des-papes-wines all spice and chocolate trufflesWonderful aromas of citrus and gooseberry introduce this fresh, aromatic, full bodied wine. The palate is well balanced with succulent gooseberry and passionfruit characters, fine minerality and a long lingering summer grass finish. The grapes for this wine were grown on the free draining stony loam soils of the Hope Plains. The Sauvignon Blanc vines on our home vineyard were cropped very lightly and hence contribute wonderful concentration and
