A Croix De Guerre, C.1918 Newly Listed directional needle in steel blueIn bronze, "1914 1918" reverse, measuring 37 mm (w) x 45. 7 mm (h) inclusive of its ball suspension, gold star and two bronze stars on its original ribbon, scattered nicks, surface wear, very fine. Footnote: The Croix de Guerre is a military decoration of France. It was first created in 1915 and consists of a square cross medal on two crossed swords, hanging from a ribbon with various degree pins. The decoration was awarded during the First World War
